THE INTERGALACTIC

In the course of 2018, the first Sputnik’s were launched onto the gravel. This first generation came with the INTERGALACTIC paint scheme, featuring Chris King’s limited edition Matte Punch components.

Whether it’s gravel, tarmac or any other surface. The Intergalactic feels at home both on as off the road. We measure, design, build and assemble from scratch because every rider has its own perfect fit. The geometry is made to fit the owner’s riding style and is built by hand to last a lifetime.

Orders are limited to keep the quality and service high.

Specifications

  • Frame

Made to measure with custom geometry

Made to your measures with a frame geometry designed for your adventures. It is a unique experience to really feel one with your bike. This only happens when your bike fits like a glove. Get that experience and join the Sputnik bikefitting session with our partner Pedaalkracht. Once we've got your position right, your Sputnik's frame geometry is fine-tuned to your personal use. If you are using your Sputnik as much on-road as off-road, we tweak steering and handling slightly different as compared to a more off-road oriented rider.

Carefully selected tubing from Columbus and Dedacciai combined with an in-house produced head tube, thru-axle dropouts, custom bent seat stays and St Joris' (flat mount) disc brake mount make for a rock solid frame to endure your adventures.

Details count, so external hydraulics is a no-go for Sputnik! To give your Sputnik that clean and sleek look, we go through a lot of trouble to put your hydraulics fully internal. With all the hydraulics inside the frame, it is safe and reliably shielded from external impacts. As an added bonus, it also makes your life easier when cleaning your machine.
